You may have to wait a little longer if Keighley get their way

If only Oldham had won the Champ 1 playoff!!  :o

Dear JD, could you spell it out to me what the difference would have been if they had? Seen one or two saying same but don't quite grasp the significance. Is it something to do with a ground?

Cran Cran

Some people are of the opinion that the RFL may have preferred Oldham to have won that match, allowing them to refuse promotion due to their ground not meeting certain criteria.

This would have enabled the RFL to keep Keighley in the Championship thus reducing the potential liability to compensate Keighley for the Dual Regs fiasco

It is all alleged of course and nobody has any proof that this situation would ever have occurred

The Founding Fathers of RL must be turning in their graves if they are able to follow the antics of this incompetent bunch of RFL numpties.

Come to think of it, this crew have so distorted the concepts of rugby league for this coming season that the Founding Fathers wont even be able to recognize the sport within the financial inequalities handed out and league structures that have been laid down.

In fact the Founding Fathers would actually be joining the rest of RL and it's supporters in not being able to understand why the finances have been set up the way they are and how the league structures should actually work.

RL 'family' should support The Cougars and work to sort the RFL idiots out once and for all.

I am now sure whatever the RFL come up with as a solution to the Batley case, it will only serve to make them look even more corrupt and ridiculous.
