its hard to get leave when you wrk shifts unless you bang it in months in advance even then it just takes one person to phone in sick and your knackered I'm a season ticket.holder and the amount of.games I've missed due to not getting off is unbelievable sometimes I wonder why I renew it every year

I wonder what percentage of the '10000' Sellafield workforce make up our average 700 gate.  Can you hard working shift lads persuade a few more to join us.

Possible increased bar takings verses 1% at best of Sellafield workforce or an even less % if we are talking occasional attendance of shift workers.

whats your problem with sellafield workers marra your dropping in your snide remarks me and snakey go as many games as we can which is almost every home game and nearly every away game so we couldn,t give a toss if its saturday or sunday personally i prefer saturday as i like a good pi55 up with me marras might even try to get a few of them to come as most of them have family days on sundays

No idea if it's as easy for you HM, but even there your not guaranteed to be off ! See the times either me or spacey aren't on the away bus, it's because we can't get off. Just one of those things if work doesn't allow it, unlucky we just have to try to get to the next one.

May have already been mentioned but just about the key issue for top amateurs not wanting to sign is giving up their Saturday nights out, would playing Saturdays help with this?

Your right pal. Many have Monday to Friday jobs and playing pro rugby would mean not being able to drink over the weekend. Only time would be on a Sunday but then they'd have work Mondays. Playing Saturday would mean a few beers after a game without being bothered about work
