John Hurst is in West Cumberland Hospital and is quite poorly. Could you all think of him in your prayers and thoughts and also of his family. The club is thinking of you John.

It is with great sadness that I have heard from Johns family  that John passed away in West Cumberland Hospital this afternoon .

I am sure you will join me in  sending condolences to his Wife Gill and family  at this sad time .

I only got to know John recently and he seemed to be a thoroughly decent chap. From what little he told me he felt he had been sidelined over the course of the last year or so. I respect him and I hope the club can come together to mourn his loss. I have no religion but I hope all that loved him can combine.
