Yeah, the crowd against crusaders was promising, just hope we can dig deep on Saturday to have momentum for York which should be close to a 1000,  then we have to put a show on to persuade the floaters to keep coming.  On the plus side we only have one of the no hopers left to play at home. so should get some decent away followings.

Once you loose supporter's that have turned their back on the club for what ever reason its nearly impossible to get them back, they get in to other hobbies and soon realise that there is life after Whitehaven rflc, and that's a truth sadly.

wouldn,t say season would fizzle out if we lose next week we,ve lost 3 out of 9 games so far 17 games to go would think for a top 5 finish we could afford to lose 8 or 9 matches still plenty to play for yet

Don't think promotion is realistic for anyone who finishes outside the top 3, must win game imo,  and one we're more than capable of winning.

All in all the RFL have ruined rugby league in this country with their elitist's attitude.
Bring back a 2 tier system with a 2 up 2 down format that gives the game a mix
Forget the super 8's and playoffs ...Bring back what we once had!!!!
That's the only way we will increase the crowd base back in rfl.
In the interim why not give u16's and lower age groups ...just for local teams... a free pass.... these are the players and spectators of the future.... wise up and bring in the kids to motivate them!!!
