Carlsberg will only be paid for the products they supply. Where the rumours of anything else has come from god only knows, some people clearly have nothing better to do with their lives but to make things up!

The shirt branding is straight sponsorship, as it has been stated earlier in this thread, but does not start until next year.

Agree with Recre Faithful. Dean Fearon was instrumental in this deal. Dean is putting a lot of work into helping the club including the Haven Fest

There so bitter it’s unbelievable there just gutted there noisy neighbors gonna be about a bit longer and hopefully a couple of there players next year  :D

Geordie knows everything about every scandal at both clubs and as proof but when asked to show proof its never been done

i think that was on the hope England got to the world cup final large screen in kells end rumoured to be happening france croatia sadly won't have the same appeal

Spacey is Right I'm afraid. We had kindly been given some sponsorship towards putting on a big event on Sunday with the WC Final as a key component. However it wasn't to be.

This was in response to many fans telling us they wouldn't be travelling through to Derwent Park for the game due to only having less than half hour for the derby game to finish and get back to Whitehaven to watch the game.

At least now we can all get through and support the lads in what will be a tough game against our neighbours

Well done to Dean Fearon for orchestrating the sponsorship deal with Carlsberg. There are lots of further potential sponsors out there with a budget for local community and sports projects. They need to be courted and coerced in a professional manner by the board.It might even be worth considering hiring a marketing consultant . Requesting sponsorship by email is dumb and unprofessional.
