Good teams are build on sound solid defence, and the table stats tell us that's where we are just now....BUT good teams also know how to change solid defence into points through pressure at the other end of the pitch.


If we are to continue to do well this season, I feel we MUST find a cutting edge to expand our options beyond what we offer after all of our hard work defending and then pushing our way down the middle for four tackles. No complaints ….mainly fears that miss out by being less than as expansive than we could / should be.

Totally agree marra. With the exception of Oldham defensively we’ve been pretty solid but in attack lack that cutting edge. Need to Chuck the ball about a bit and even try a few offloads. We hardly ever see that but other sides try it.  Instead of having Shacks trying to bulldoze into 3 forwards why not put him out wide a bit and have him running at a centre we’re he has more chance of gaining metres or is that to simple
