Thomas initially signed a one-month trial with us and made his debut coming on for the second half in the Betfred Challenge Cup second round defeat versus Widnes Vikings. Despite only playing 40 minutes against the Vikings, Thomas impressed the coaching staff enough in training to secure this deal for the remainder of the campaign.
Speaking after signing the deal, Thomas said: "It’s been a long year of uncertainties since I last played, and so I’m excited to be back out playing the game I love and I’m grateful for Whitehaven for giving me this opportunity."
Oscar goes straight into contention and is available for selection for this weekend's fixture versus Toulouse Olympique at the LEL Arena which is streamed via the RFL's OurLeague App or at rugby-league.com/livestream
