Would agree with most of that marra, but just a few points

1. What has Derry done wrong? he has come such a long way in the past year or so and with someone like Seeds to mentor him along he can only get better, he is still just a young lad. His attacking in open play is good and his defense has improved greatly. Why discard him now when he has come so far and we have put so much time into his development.

2. Also what is wrong with Spencer? Yes he isn't having the best of times at the moment but everyone has a drop in form now and again. When he came back at the end of last year after his eye injury he was excellent. He still has that talent just not showing it at the moment. Maybe with a new coach who knows? (Also still got a few years left in him yet!!!).

3. What about A Smith? It seems he's on his way, but would you want to keep him?

4. Seeds? Are you taking it that he has already gone?

5. Are Fats and Leroy intending to retire? Or do they have one last season in them?

i think smith will go,

seeds,leroy,fats and trindall all inteed to retire at the end of the season.

ive never really rated derrie id rather have both mcavoys in the centres before derrie thats just my opinion.

spencer he tries but i think we could get someone better again just my opinion

are all leaving now that means the older guys hu havent played great and are struggling because of their age , now we can go out and spend a bit of muny to replace and and to the squad u will c a huge difference next year u cant exspect players hu are in their 30s playing and running like a 24 yr old so maybe its time to get some younger fitter players in for next term ITS A MUST LIKE IT OR NOT

Well I am sorry to say it's time for a new broom! Only ones I would keep Calvert, if they used him right, Jacko,  Mcavoy, Hill and all the under 21's give them a try.  Something needs to be done to build a new squad from the youngsters. Thats where our future lies.
Might not do much for the first couple of seasons I don't know, but is it not worth a gamble. Bring Mcdermot in as coach too?

1 steve trindal just so we could maybe use the money to get a classy stand off
2 aron smith we dont need that many hookers
3 rob jackson if you want to no the reason go and watch him play
4 maiden is not a bad player and dose try but do we need a traveling wing man
5 ricky right  never realy seen him play well
6 and i wouldnt sign so many acadamy lads on wait intil they have played first team level for their ameture clubsplayers like shackly/d.smith/hodgson/fox/jones/barker/bamber/ are no were near ready to play first team rugby yet and would be better off playing amature like derry did just to get sum experience. Having watched lancaster play i would advise him to have a season playing league some were and learn his trade but he dose have pace

hodgson played 1st team at distington and was there top try scorer in his first season in rl
jones played 1st team at hensingham
barker played 1st team for us last season and 1st team at glasson
bamber was at st.helens
fox had a good season at hensingham u18s
dan smith wont ever be good enough

as for rob jackson he is a good player who i would keep but id play him 2nd row and not centre
maden i want this guy to stay he is an awesome winger
