Whitehaven Rugby League can announce the signing of five trialists heading into the pre-season fixtures vs Barrow and Workington next month.
The five players have been part of the pre-season training and have signed trialist forms which will allow them the opportunity to play in the pre-season clashes.
We welcome Harley Nelson and Aaron Burns from Kells ARLFC, Emerson Allen and Mitchell Todd from Lowca ARL and Ben Atkinson from Dalton ARL.
Head coach Anthony Murray spoke saying “ We will be giving them an opportunity… they need to play and show what they can do, they’ve showed what they can do in training and I’ve been really impressed, worked hard and come in with a good attitude and a really good skill set. Fair play to the community clubs around here that have been coaching these lads, I’m really pleased with that and impressed with what is going on locally.”
