Whitehaven Rugby League are delighted to announce the signing of centre/winger Mitchell Todd after a successful trial period with the club from CARLA side Lowca ARLFC.
Todd (20) has spent pre-season with the playing squad and made appearances in both pre-season encounters vs Barrow and Workington getting on the scoresheet in the Ike Southward Memorial Trophy victory over Workington Town and will now remain with the club permanently for the 2025 season.
Speaking about signing Todd head coach Anthony Murray spoke saying “He’s a real athlete, he’s worked hard and shown a great attitude and the lad can play. It’s up to us to continue to educating him about his positional play as an outside back and I’m delighted to give someone an opportunity who come in on trial and has earned himself a contract.”
