Whitehaven Rugby League are delighted to announce the loan signing of Joe Hartley from fellow League 1 side Midlands Hurricanes.
Hartley who also has experience with Oldham, Rochdale and Workington Town has made just the 1 appearance in 2025 in the ‘Canes 1895 cup defeat to Keighley in February but comes overall with a try scoring record of 22 tries in 52 appearances since making his debut for Oldham in 2021.
Speaking about his signing head coach Anthony Murray spoke saying “ I know Joe really well from his spell with me last year, he’s a real good lad and is committed and will fetch a real energy. He’s the right fit for here and I’ll look forward to seeing him pulling on a Whitehaven shirt.”
