Winding up order

I don't know how this "merger" talk started in this thread but I can assure you that at 3pm today the chairman of Town didn't know anything about Haven being served a winding up order notice, so take from that what you will.

I understand that is so njg, but I personally didn't know until just before 3pm.     However, the point I was meaning in my post was in relation to the talk of merger.   Dave Bowden didn't know about the winding up order just after 3pm which I'm sure he would have done if there was any talk of a merger, don't you think?

This is really turning into a bag of spanners something is not adding up here we where going into admin to stop winding up , then we are told we are in administration, then there is a winding up order from HrMC its like its some sort of race to file papaers.

Mrs Razz can you just clarify ( so we can all get  a decent nights kip tonight) whether we are in administration, being bought out, being wound up merging or exactly what is going on becasue it seems to me know one on here knows what the hell is happening

The actions by HMRC would lead us to believe that we are not in administration, have not followed due process or not completed the said administration process. The rumours to which Dick alluded to, appear at face value to be more than.... The process of admin would be recognised by the courts and would stave off further action by the HMRC as they would be up to speed with the current position.
We need a statement soon from Dick.Ralph or Michael or there is a real risk of alienating the suport which remains, something they promised wouldnt happen when meeting with the trust reps recently

Will this effect the Cumbria v England game

my  understanding is that the game is protected as Haven are not the organisers. The winding up order is an unbelievable development. I was a bit Suss that all was not well due to lack of confirmation about admin from the bod. I do hope this is not a sign of things to come

To be honest then if this is true and we are wound up...the current BOD would not be involved in any future club that is born.

Lets hope we are wound up then, and the trust can take over.

On BBC radio last week when he stated "contrary to rumours" we are in admin. Didnt hear it but somone posted it on here
