There isn't such a thing as a true fan only in some people's minds.

what I do know is that like everyone who posts on here or follows our game I am a FAN, simple as.

Hear Hear Keith - a FAN - a "true fan" is a figment of many a holier than thou's imagination.

What is a "True Fan"...!?

I think theres alot of definitions to what a "True Fan" is or why people believe they are one.

I personally am with the last two posters on this one.

However, I do class myself as a "Fan" of Whitehaven Rugby Club.

What is a "Fan"...!?

Well i can only speak for myself on this one and its really simple - I stick by the club through the "Highs and Lows". I stick to my beliefs through "Thick and Thin".

I never stayed away from the games when things went wrong this season and others walked away.

I dont think i am anymore of a fan than those people though - Infact i respect those for making a stance in something they strongly believe in.

Also - If judging those on this Forum that openly let there feelings known and there opinions in regards to this (posts) - One thing keeps coming to mind - They are very passionate and people id class as being "Fans".

If it's a girl they're naming her Sigourney after an actress, if it's a boy the 're naming him Rodney after Dave

It's a pity the hundreds of other Haven fans who stayed away hadn't made the effort to get down to the recre. Administration may of been avoided.

By my estimates we would have needed 30,000+ supporters to avoid administration then of course there is the matter of running the club on a day to day basis, so the absence of a few hundred supporters didnt make any difference to the final outcome.

at the end of the day who gives a **** about the amount of loyalty people have.
as i've said before - we live in a demcratic socirty and no one should be coerced into doing something they don't want to do.
