R,W& Blue - typical petty small minded comment. My kids do the same (They're at primary school)...."it was him, he did it first...no, I didn't it was him.......

Who said Haven were joining town or vice versa? The topic was about a WEST CUMBRIAN club that all the people could be proud of.  You probably think the UK shouldn't be in Europe "cos them foreigners are different and they will just takeover" or think that French people have tails?????

Careful what you wish for. By the way are you okay giving out those BNP leaflets or do you want a hand carrying them?

Er... yeah! Good one, I've got to admit.

What about the simple fact  that many fans want to watch a Whitehaven team play in Whitehaven.  I would prefer any day to watch local lads playing for Haven in the town than a contrived amalgamaion in Lilyhall or distington.

Let me ask you this Keith if the built Pow beck stadium and a franchise was offered on the basis it was called West Cumbria - would that satisfy you- would you and the Town fans come to support it?

boxer you say there "many fans want to watch haven playing in whitehaven". are you sure about that or is that your opinion?  town are the same there isnt "many" fans.

we need to be drawing fans from both towns to be able to provide strong support for a team.

choccy just dont post on this subject fella coz it simply isnt for you. express your opinion then boycott the thread mate.

The fact is when we where playing in grand finals we where averaging 2500 and when town where doing the same early 90,s they where getting 3000ish so the suppport is there for a succesful west cumbria side whether they played at a new stadium in haven or lillyhall wouldn,t really bother me.
