What the hell are they thinking? Linkin Park and My Chemical Romance headlining?!

Fall Out Boy, Evanescense, Marilyn Manson and M?tley Cr?e are also rumoured.

I was planning to go this year, but if this is the best they can do I won't bother. Maiden and Cr?e, and maybe Manson, are the only bands so far that appeal to me, but there's no way I'm paying festival prices to see any of them.

Puppetmaster since you had your mullet chopped off rock music has taken  turn for the worst. Do you think that your rick Parfitt mullet had anything to do with good music  or is it just a weird coincidence ?

Puppetmaster, If you want the monsters of rock then you will probably get it  at Milton Keynes, same as last year. It was a good line up, with Purple, journey, Ted Nugent etc on the bill.  As for the Download, Metallica where worth the admission price alone for me,  last year though - CLASS!
My perfect line up - Black Sabbath
                                   Tool
                                   Metallica
                                   Judas Priest
                                   Wolfmother
                                   Papa Roach
                                   Whitesnake (something for the ladies).

reckon u cud be right there monte old pal!
all this new 21st crap does nothing for me, but the old guys are making a good shout at a revival for 70's/80's metal!!
have heard rumours about M.O.R. at MK Bowl with Sabbath and AC/DC that wud be good
only prob with download is Maiden clash with Leigh at home!

bruce still with maiden
and flying passenger jets!!

they do a thing called BRUCE AIR, you can book and fly to wherever maiden are playing and get hotels and tickets for gig, and early entrance to conert
quite a unique idea i reckon!

Saw Killswitch engage last year , good metal band. Wolfmother are excellent - old school type heavy rock.
