'Cumbria Cup'

Remember when we had the 'Cumbria Cup' as a pre-season tournament rather than just playing Town each year. Obviously that got binned after Carlisle's demise but could we not have it again with a Cumbria amateur select making up the fourth spot?
This would give each time some income pre-season as each team could have one home game and one away game (say Boxing Day/New Years day)
We could call it the Ike Southward Cumbria Cup???

The Ike Southward game is the Cumbria Cup in all but name - Barrow is Cumbria in name only!
That's why I was astonished when Barrow based their SL bid on drawing a section of support from the northern half of the County. Utter rubbish.
