What are your thoughts on the away game against Batley?

We seemed to struggle on the "uphill" in the first half?

I think a bit of experience was needed to replace duffy escpecially when its at Batley. There's no place like it.

The chat rooms open by the way. Me and flannerz are starting to struggle to find things to talk about!

Average performance - all 4 of Batley's tries came from our silly errors.

The players seemed "off the boil" during the pre match warm up which might have affected our performance 1st half

Calvert MOTM - scored 3 tries (2 of which his pace created) and saved 2 others

second half was better than the 1st and we did well cos we knew that batley would want a win at home and on the back of two heavy losses.

We were unspectacular really. There was a total lack of shape and there was countless times when we missed out on overlaps by not going blindside. Lester had a good game played a role in 4 of our tries, Calvert had what i would say his best game for the club. Defensively he had a very good game and he got 3 tries. Derry Eilbeck and Maden look good on the right, really Eilbeck must have cemented his place in the team when Seedsy returns. My main worry for us yesterday was the interchanging between our hookers, i can't understand why when someone is having a good game they need to go off and totally disrupt the team like it appears to do most weeks.
