I don’t believe Barrow went with pay cuts for that reason. Would appear either Keighely did go down this route or told players they could move clubs if there was any club interested.

Also we are under Special Measures meaning we couldn’t sign any replacements

keighley went down the paycut route but as they have a young reserve team they coukd get away with losing a few players where we havent got that luxury

Did someone mention a club statement was planned today?
Any one know when this is to issued? Hope like you say its open and honest about the clubs current status and the plans going forward.

does it really matter if we find out tomorrow morning nobody complained when players where getting announced at 7am and we where told the day before to wake up early

yes it matters
my mates are saying they aint going back due to the fact that the club were all over the media whilst on the cadge and now its like pulling teeth. Statement was supposed to be made today. It's not bloody difficult. Keighley and Barrow are managing it well

Information via statements should be issued at the very earliest opportunity and not delayed due to missing a newspaper deadline.

If the BoD want to keep the existing fans fully on board and all engaged and hopefully (re)attract other fans then it needs to be fully open and fully honest with regular statements.
